The Gratitude of the Next Century to the Past Century, The Advice of the Past Century to the Current Youth

Under the coordination of Sağlık ve Yaşam Bilimleri Topluluğu Danışmanı Doç. Dr. Nurten TERKEŞ, our school, Vilayetler Hizmet Birliği Anaokulu, and Burdur Bucak Bakım Merkez’inin iş birliği ile between the dates of 18-20.10.2023, within the scope of the 100th Anniversary Celebrations of our Republic, a Social Responsibility Project titled “Gelecek Yüzyılın Geçmiş Yüzyıla Teşekkürü, Geçmiş Yüzyılın Şuan ki Gençliğe Tavsiyeleri” was carried out.

Under the coordination of the Health and Life Sciences Community Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurten TERKEŞ, our School, Vilayetler Hizmet Birliği Kindergarten, and Burdur Bucak Care Center collaborated on a Social Responsibility Project titled “The Gratitude of the Next Century to the Past Century, Advice from the Past Century to the Current Youth” within the scope of the 100th Anniversary Celebrations of our Republic between 18-20.10.2023. The aim of this Social Responsibility Project was to bring together three different generations and enable mutual sharing. On the first day, our university students visited the kindergarten and made drawings for the 100th anniversary of our Republic with the children. On the second day, a group consisting of university students and kindergarten students gifted the drawings they made to the elderly individuals at the Care Center for their contributions in the past century. Our elderly individuals shared their experiences from the past century with the youth. On the last day of the project, a social event was held in our school garden with all age groups, including activities like painting and traditional games such as “al satarım, bal satarım.”
