The event "A Sentence, A Ribbon, A Thousand Hopes" was held at Bucak Health School

The event "A Sentence, A Ribbon, A Thousand Hopes" was organized by the Nursing Department of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Health School to raise social awareness about breast cancer. The event, led by the faculty members of the Nursing Department, took place on October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the school garden with the participation of students.

As part of the event, students shared the short messages they prepared regarding breast cancer awareness. In the "Awareness with a Sentence" project, students highlighted the importance of protecting women's health and spreading awareness with their own sentences.

During the program, students came together and lined up in the shape of a pink ribbon, which symbolizes breast cancer awareness. The importance of solidarity and acting together was emphasized with the human ribbon created. The event, where individual messages were transformed into a common visual, conveyed the message, "We are together for awareness!".

The event, which supports nursing students in taking social responsibility towards women's health, aimed to contribute to the transfer of breast cancer awareness from the university environment to different segments of society.
