Our College's Child Development and Nursing Department faculty members Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hatice DARGA and Doç. Dr. Nurten TERKEŞ conducted an interview and practical training event. The event was held on 01.04.2023 in cooperation with our College, Bucak Youth and Sports District Directorate, and Bucak Credit and Dormitories Institution on the topic of “Approach to Children and First Aid Training for Parents.” In the event, which was very productive with the interest and participation of families and children, children took an active role with their voluntary participation in first aid training. Families who had the opportunity to express themselves expressed their satisfaction with the information they gained about approaching children. Child Development students played games with the children in the garden before and after the event, ensuring that the children had fun and relaxed. We would like to thank Bucak Youth and Sports District Director Zeki ÇELİK and Dormitory Director Mustafa ÖZTÜRK for their support in the realization of the event. We also thank our Child Development students İrem ÇATALBAŞ, Nurselin ERYİĞİT, and Veysi IŞIK, and our Midwifery Department students Habibe OVAT and Beyza ÇAVDAR for their support.
