An event named ‘Let’s Get to Know Our Sense Organs’ was held by the Head of the Nursing Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel ŞENTÜRK on Wednesday, 08.11.2023, between 13.30-15.00 for the Teachers and Students of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School 3/D Class. Within the scope of the event, ‘Functions of the Sense Organs’ was explained by our School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Gürkan DİLEK, and ‘Health of the Sense Organs’ was explained by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel ŞENTÜRK and nursing department students on models in the laboratory environment. Within the scope of the event, all laboratories in our school were toured and their purposes of use were explained. Another part of the event was held in the garden, where the topic ‘Can We Donate Our Sense Organs?’ was explained by Nurse Hülya ALAN, the Responsible of the Organ Donation Unit of Bucak State Hospital, and brochures about organ donation were distributed. The program ended with a music recital in the garden. We thank our School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Gürkan DİLEK, who ensured the organization of the event, our Teacher of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School 3/D Class Müzeyyen GÜÇLÜ and our students who participated, and our parents who allowed the event.
